Why Craft beer?

• Craft beer is many different things to many different people and most beer lovers have a story of discovery to share. Craft beer has been described variously as ten minutes of pleasure, pure happiness in a glass, full flavored, authentic, archetypical, an intellectual beverage that is to be savored not swilled and much, much more. It is enjoyed for everyday celebrations and is viewed by many as one of the special things in life that makes the day taste and feel a little better. It is also regarded as living liquid history. Each glass displays the creativity and passion of its maker and the complexity of its ingredients. Craft beer is treasured by millions of beer lovers who see it as not merely a fermented beverage, but also something to be enjoyed in moderation, shared and revered. It is a versatile beverage, often enjoyed over a discussion of the important issues of the day and sometimes used as an ingredient in cooking.

Our beliefs

Cedar Creek Brewery is committed to serving the community of the Greater Cedar Creek Lake area. We want to use every local resource possible. We will hire people who live here and care about our community. Cedar Creek Brewery will partner with other lake area businesses to keep our money locally. We will use grains and hops every day in our brewing process. Our goal is to discuss the possibility with farmers to grow these locally.

Cedar Creek Brewery wants to make decisions today that will have a positive impact for tomorrow. We will use cans instead of bottles. Cans are more easily recycled, are lighter in weight so less fuel is needed to transport and less emissions in the air. Cans are more “lake-friendly.”
CCB will use plastic kegs. These too are less weight and will be re-used for years.

Our family is very dedicated to the proper care and treatment of animals. As a company, Cedar Creek Brewery will support the local animal shelters. The shelters around our area are under-staffed and under-funded. We want to help and get our community to help also.

Cedar Creek Brewery will serve the cities of Kemp, Gun Barrel City, Mabank, Seven Points, Tool, Trindidad, Malakoff and the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex.
